Anchor
Loft
is very roomy and situated on the third and top floor of
the Grade ll listed Anchor Quay warehouse,
the centrepiece of the Anchor Quay development built during 2006
and situated on the edge of the ancient town of Penryn. Nestling just
behind the quay walls of the south facing inner harbour, the warehouse
historically was used for processing goods from the South Pacific.

You cannot fail to be impressed when you enter Anchor
Loft. The attention to detail, coupled with the vast space and natural
stone features, have produced the most wonderful results. The
views down the Penryn river from the inward-opening patio doors in
the lounge and master bedroom are spectacular and present a dynamic
scene with the ebb and flow of the tide - sometimes birds wading
in the shallows with boats leaning at all angles, sometimes a magnificent
lake with a rural backdrop.

Internally the property has a combination of wooden
flooring in the living areas/bedrooms and tiled floors in the bathrooms.
Gas central heating, all the mod-cons, beautiful furnishings, exposed
stone walls and the huge feature chimney in the living room, make this
a truly memorable and very comfortable holiday home.
Conveniently
positioned for trips into Falmouth (there is a park and ride or float
into Town about three minutes walk from the quay) or for exploring
Cornwall by car without the hassle of negotiating your way in and
out of a busy holiday destination. North coast beaches, the Eden
Project, Lizard peninsula and the beauty of Roseland are readily
accessible (via the King Harry Ferry) across the River Fal.

Walk by the quay along the quiet river backwater above
the Penryn road bridge.

Outside
the apartment there is plenty of space for parking and turning round
off the road. We have a large garage available for guests at the
rear of the site.
Access
to the Anchor Building is via a secured doorway to entrance hall,
staircase. Just one flight of stairs takes you
up to a large landing on the third floor and through another key-locked
door to your apartment which altogether contains about 1,700 square
feet (170 square metres) of this building.
Children
and small dogs welcome - as are well-behaved adults!
